Three ways to work together

Start where the work is stuck.

Choose the challenge that sounds familiar. We’ll define the scope around your people, setting, and priorities.

01 / Understand the behavior

Behavioral strategy

The change matters. Why isn’t it taking hold?

When training, reminders, or a new process aren’t translating into practice, we can examine the action you need to support and the conditions around it.

Define the problem
A specific behavior, the people involved, and what meaningful progress would look like.
Examine the barriers
Listening and observation informed by behavioral research, with attention to context, choice, and access.
Build a response to test
A coordinated intervention plan and a practical measurement approach, with uncertainty made explicit.

An engagement can include these elements; scope and deliverables are agreed together. Applications of BRIA and the 6 Lens Model are exploratory while validation is underway.

02 / Design for participation

Communication & participation design

You’ve shared the message. Can people use it?

A complex issue, an inaccessible process, or a history of distrust can shape whether people engage. We can examine the experience around your message and make the next step clearer.

Understand the audience
Questions, concerns, communication needs, and the conditions that shape participation.
Design the experience
Plain-language messages, accessible participation options, and communication built with the people affected.
Learn from use
A plan to examine understanding, access barriers, and participation in the setting that matters.

My work through Zoe Communications includes public education and engagement around City of Dallas planning and zoning reform. My research with Feleceia B. Wilson examines disability-inclusive communication.

03 / Give ideas room to move

Speaking & workshops

What should your audience be able to do with the idea?

I bring a broadcaster’s ability to connect and a behavioral strategist’s questions to keynotes, workshops, moderated conversations, and research presentations.

Behavior is Brand
How organizational decisions, environments, and communication shape trust and participation.
Designing for Belonging
Communication access, meaningful choice, and building with the people affected.
From Insight to Action
Define a behavioral problem, consider a response, and learn from what happens next.

Talks and workshops can be shaped around your audience and purpose. For event inquiries, include your date, format, location, and budget.

What working together can look like

A clear question.
A practical way forward.

  1. 01

    Understand

Start with your situation, what you’ve tried, and the people whose experience matters.

  2. 02

    Agree the scope

Define the question, the work involved, and what you need to receive.

  3. 03

    Design

Develop the strategy, communication, or learning experience around that scope.

  4. 04

    Review and learn

Examine what the work makes possible and what further evidence or refinement is needed.

Start a conversation

Bring the challenge.
We’ll start there.

Three questions are enough to begin. Choose an area if you have one in mind; “Not sure yet” is welcome.
