Mr. Frankie Wilson is an American public-figure who is best known as the host of the award-winning, nationally and internationally syndicated radio show, Inside Gospel. Since 2007, Mr. Frankie Wilson has established himself as a successful entrepreneur, leader and speaker through his companies V.M. Communications, LLC – a media content company, WeBuildPodcasts.com and The Giving Project – Dallas 501c3.
Frankie has amassed a line of clients that includes media giant Warner Brothers, Tyler Perry Studios, The USA Network, The Gospel Music Workshop of America (GMWA) and more. He has received a national Stellar Award, and ICON of Radio award, an International Media of the Year award, and more. Frankie has also sat with various though-leaders, politicians, and artist from across the world, including Common (actor/rapper), Natalie Grant (singer/actor), Andrew Young (politician/activist), and Damond John (FUBU executive/Shark Tank), and more. He also successfully forged a multi-year partnership with the South By Southwest Music Festival as a showcase presenter and creator. His showcases have been named one of the “Top Showcases to See” by The Source Magazine.
Frankie’s most powerful and fulfilling work has come from what he does as a speaker and philanthropist. As a graduate student in the psychological field of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), his platforms on self-ownership and success are heavily influenced and informed by the principles of ABA.
Frankie has two TED Talks published on the TED.com website, with the University of Purdue and the Rochester Institute of Technology at Dubai. He has spoken at some of the top Colleges and Universities in the nation including, Southern Methodist University, the University of North Texas, Texas Woman’s University, and Prairie View A&M University. He has also been a keynote and speaker on local and national stages including the South by Southwest Interactive Festival, The African American Museum of Dallas, The Potters House (main campus), The Compel Digital Summit and more.
Finally, his work with The Giving Project – Dallas, has created opportunities to clothe, feed and provide computer-skills training for citizens across the City of Dallas for nearly a decade. In 2017, Frankie was recognized by the City of Dallas with a nomination as Philanthropist of the Year for his work feeding nearly 1,000 people a year for 5 years in a row.
